DGS - Wireless Gas Detector

The DGS is a wireless indoor gas detector with FastLink technology, designed for the FORCE series alarm systems. FastLink communication is encrypted using 128-bit AES encryption to provide a high level of security.

To use the DGS requires the prior installation of a wireless receiver.

The DGS is a fully supervised detector and can detect the presence of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and report wirelessly to the control panel. LPG includes propane gas (C3H8), mainly used as fuel in heating appliances, kitchen equipment and vehicles.

The detector monitors the presence of gas once every 10 seconds and performs a self-test every 160 seconds. Once the gas concentration reaches the detection threshold, an alarm is triggered by emitting an audible alert every second and the red LED lights up blinking.

The DGS is powered by a 220V AC (Alternating Current) transformer, which is connected with a micro USB cable (included). The detector battery is only used to monitor and alert the control panel about loss of AC power.

The DGS reports the low battery condition and has a tamper switch that alerts when your cabinet opens or when the detector is removed from the wall. The buttons identified as PKey and Reset are for the manufacturer's use.
